Been hearing rumors about this for awhile, and now Been hearing rumors about this for awhile, and now it’s nearly here! Pretty excited about the release of Apple Music Classical. I’m a subscriber of Apple Music, which I do enjoy, but the classical music world is sorely underserved in their app. Example: if I ask Siri to play classical violin music for my daughter’s naptime, it gives us a playlist of poorly-composed music played by string synthesizer and piano. 🤔 And finding music by certain composers performed by certain artists is really hard for both search and Siri. But I have high hopes for the new Apple Music Classical app to come later this month. Anyone else excited to check it out? 🎶

Any fellow Tumble Leaf fans out there? Aria’s a Any fellow Tumble Leaf fans out there? Aria’s a big fan, and I also think it’s a cute show. After many days of imaginary “Stick” the caterpillar at our house, inspiration struck. Now Stick is real at our house, haha! We also made Stick’s cousin and a baby Stick, too. 😂

It’s amazing what a glue gun and a few craft supplies can accomplish!! 👩🏻‍🎨

The story behind the garbage truck cake… We were browsing Pinterest to find ideas for a birthday cake to make. Upon seeing a garbage truck cake picture, Aria would not consider any other option. So, garbage truck cake it was! 😂🥰🎂

Had a super fun time co-presenting yesterday with Had a super fun time co-presenting yesterday with my friend @amychaplinpiano (with a cameo appearance by baby Brenna 😂) for my local MTNA chapter, the Ann Arbor Area Piano Teachers Guild. We spoke on 5 principles from Edwin E. Gordon’s Music Learning Theory (MLT) that piano teachers can incorporate into their lessons. To top it off, we enjoyed lunch together afterwards at Zingerman’s!
