I’m so pleased to announce that my Composition & Improvisation Prompts for Piano, previously available in Studio-Licensed eBook form, is now available in hardcopy!
Prompts for Piano provides a fun, easy way to guide beginner and elementary students to make their own music. Each of the 20 prompts provides inspiration and direction for the student to embark on a series of creative projects.
Each prompt offers a list of objectives to guide the student with their composition or improvisation. The hardcopy book also features a page of staff paper, opposite of each prompt, for students to notate their musical ideas.
Prompts for Piano was originally released back in 2013, as a Studio-Licensed PDF. All 20 prompts have been updated with all new illustrations — for both the digital and hardcopy versions. The prompts otherwise are the same as original.
(Note: If you purchased the digital version in the past, watch for an email from me soon sending you the PDF with updated illustrations for free!)
Here are more preview pages.
I’m so thrilled to have both print and digital versions of Prompts for Piano now available. When I run composition camps or group classes, I can print from desired using the Studio-Licensed PDF version. And for students who are really into composition/improvisation, I can give them a beautiful hardcopy book with all the prompts and staff paper included.
Order now to take advantage of special launch pricing on the hardcopy books, now through October 31, 2024.
