This is the basic format for what I’ve done in my past recitals. Do you also announce the student, song, and composer? I’ve been doing that, but it is redundant as it is already in the program. Do you have any thoughts on this? I’m always looking to improve my teaching and am SO glad I came across your site! Thank you fro all you hard work!
I don’t typically announce the students or their pieces. I give make some remarks at the beginning and end of the recital, and sometimes talk about the piece I will be playing, but that’s it. It helps save time.
