I’m back!

Have you missed me?  Due to some technological difficulties, I’ve been unable to post blog entries since late last week.  I’m so relieved to finally have things worked out!

Due to the delay, however, our July monthly forum is being extended until (probably) Thursday – so if you’d still like to share your thoughts about piano method books, please do so now!

Meanwhile, here’s a peek into what’s coming up over the next few days/weeks:

  • A free printable for making the signs for the “Listen & Sign game” (as promised)
  • Garageband software: what it does and how it could be used in your music studio
  • Audacity software: what it does and how it can be used in your music studio

Don't miss a thing!

  1. Having just this week found your postings, I am thrilled with your suggestions for reinforcements/activities. Tell me, please, for the Adventures in Music game, are the staff notes-intervals and symbols printed on the backs of each treble clef and heart notes? To be safe, I will not assemble any cards until further instruction from you. Sorry I’m not clever enough to figure out the easiest of games.
    Thanks for the great ideas!

    1. Thanks for your comment, Joan!

To answer your question, the backs of the cards do not actually make a difference in the game play. Basically, I wanted to create two categories of cards in order to increase the chances of the players getting asked a variety of types of questions. The symbols on the backs of the card do not necessarily relate to what is being asked on the other side. Sorry for the confusion! =)

Hope that helps! I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying Color In My Piano. I hope you’ll check back in regularly!
